CEREC Crowns

Crowns are “caps” that are placed over teeth that have suffered severe trauma or decay. They are also used to restore teeth after root canals, as well as dental implants. They help restore the strength and appearance of the tooth.

However, in the past, crowns would take several appointments to fabricate and place. At our office, we use CEREC, which is a technology that uses computer-aided design and manufacturing to create a custom crown in just one hour.

Bridges

A missing tooth can cause the teeth surrounding the space to shift, affecting the bite. It can also result in gum disease and difficulties with chewing and speaking. A bridge is a device that is used to replace a missing tooth or teeth, restoring the strength, appearance and health of the smile. A bridge consists of a prosthetic tooth that is connected to crowns placed on the teeth on either side of the space, securing it into place. Because the bridge is permanently cemented, it is a more stable and secure option than dentures.
